Víctor Manuel, born in Mieres (Asturias), is one of the essential singer-songwriters in Spanish music, with more than five decades on the road and songs such as "Asturias", "Solo pienso en ti" and "El abuelo Vítor". In "Solo a solas conmigo" he performs in a stripped-back format, accompanied only by his voice and guitar or piano, running through his repertoire and the stories behind each song. Teatro Cervantes, Málaga's great historic theatre, is the perfect setting for this kind of recital.
