For twenty years they've shown that noise can also be a theoretical framework: a way of ordering ideas through volume, turning the pop song into an uncomfortable object. On "Mi Catedral", their new album, they expand the TAB universe into a place where the mythic, the political and the intimate don't compete but instead bleed into one another. It's not an album about faith, but about belonging; it doesn't explain its era so much as cut through it, carving out a space of its own within it. And there lies the TAB paradox: the harsher the world sounds, the more urgent it becomes to build something we can call our own.
