Manuel Lombo presents "Piano piano" at Teatro Cervantes on Wednesday 28 April 2027 at 20:00, with piano by Chico Pérez and Manuel Moreno.

In this new show, Lombo is accompanied by two young pianists, Chico Pérez from Jaén and Manuel Moreno from Huelva, rising figures who cover a wide range of musical styles. A recital of songs, mostly big hits, in which the Nazareno-born singer shows the versatility of his voice: writers such as Rafael de León, Manuel Alejandro, Serrat, Perales and Manuel Pareja-Obregón, with tributes to great names in Spanish song such as Rocío Jurado, Bambino, María Jiménez, Julio Iglesias and María Dolores Pradera.

A singer, lyricist and composer whose work is steeped in flamenco influence, Manuel Lombo moves brilliantly across the widest range of styles: he has the unorthodoxy of a young classicist, the respect of an avant-garde cantaor and the volcanic force of someone who loves his homeland. Chico Pérez is one of the most promising musicians on today's flamenco scene: winner of RTVE's Best Artist Award, the Young Talent Award and the Composer Award (2018), his debut album, "Gruserías", was named one of the best flamenco albums of 2019 by El País and was nominated for a MIN Award; he has shared bills with Diego Amador, Israel Fernández, Farruquito, Arcángel and Sandra Carrasco.
