Eliades Ochoa brings his "¡Como nunca! World Tour" to Teatro Cervantes on Sunday 27 June 2027 at 20:00, closing the Terral 2027 series.
The tour is a hymn to life and to the artistic journey of the legendary Cuban singer, guitarist and composer: an intimate, festive encounter with his audience and a journey through the songs that have left their mark, refreshed in a new light. "¡Como nunca!" is his way of thanking those who have always stood by him and telling them, from the stage, that he's alive and singing… like never before.
Eliades Ochoa is one of the most important son musicians of all time, the great Cuban guitarist of his generation and a passionate champion of his country's traditional music. With an already well-established career, the iconic album "Buena Vista Social Club" (1997), produced by Ry Cooder, changed his life: songs such as "Chan Chan", "El cuarto de Tula" and "El carretero" sent his international career soaring, along with collaborations with Bunbury, Aute, Jarabe de Palo, Pablo Milanés and C. Tangana. He has released nine albums, won four Latin Grammys, and was nominated for a Grammy for Best World Music Album for "AfroCubism" (2010).
Eliades Ochoa (guitar and lead vocals), Juan Eduardo Pineda Carrión (piano), Ángel Herrera Fernández (percussion), Jorge Roque Martínez (saxophone and minor percussion), Frank Mayea Pedroza (trumpet and minor percussion) and Santiago Jiménez Smith (bass).
Running time: 1 h 15 min, no interval.
