Depedro · Furia y calma

Depedro presents "Furia y calma" at Teatro Cervantes on Friday 25 June 2027 at 20:00, as part of the Terral 2027 series.

After the warm reception for "Un lugar perfecto", named Best Pop/Rock Album at the 2025 Music Academy Awards, Depedro arrives with his full band to present his new album, "Furia y calma", in a concert that will also feature the most iconic songs from his earlier work.

Depedro is the musical project of Madrid-born Jairo Zavala, one of the most distinctive voices on the Spanish scene. It began in 2008 with the album "Depedro", recorded with the American band Calexico, and his career has been built on an open, cross-border spirit blending influences from Latin America, Africa, the Mediterranean and the United States. He has taken his music to five continents and explored other formats, including the documentaries "Casamance", about his musical roots in Senegal, and "Fanantenana", made with the Granada-based NGO Agua de Coco to build music schools in Madagascar.

Jairo Zavala "Depedro" (vocals and guitar), Martín Bruhn (drums and percussion), Héctor Rojo (bass), Raúl Marqués (multi-instrumentalist) and Kike Fuentes (guitar).
