Balkan Paradise Orchestra

Balkan Paradise Orchestra perform at La Cochera Cabaret (Málaga) on 30 April 2027. A brass band rooted in Balkan music. La Cochera Cabaret is a venue for theatre, music and stand-up comedy.

The group formed in 2015 on the streets of Barcelona playing the repertoire of Serbian and Romanian brass bands, which is where their name comes from. Today they're ten musicians on brass, woodwind and percussion who also write their own songs with rhythms from the Iberian peninsula. Their concerts are choreographed and highly energetic, a legacy of their years busking and performing at circus festivals. They've released albums such as "K'ataka", winner of the Enderrock Award for Best Folk Album, "Odissea" and "Néctar" (2024), and have played international festivals including the Ottawa Jazz Festival.
