Singer Argentina presents "Utrera flamenco fetén" at Teatro Cervantes on Sunday 31 January 2027 at 19:00.
On 12 December 2025, the Huelva-born singer, a two-time Latin Grammy nominee, released "Utrera flamenco fetén (En vivo)", a deep, sincere, visceral tribute to the flamenco tradition of Utrera, one of the great cradles of the genre's compás. What started as an idea became one of the deepest, most committed projects of her career: not just a live recording, but a declaration of love for a land that has produced one-of-a-kind artists such as Fernanda and Bernarda de Utrera, Gaspar de Utrera, Pepa de Utrera, Bambino and Enrique Montoya.
Argentina (Huelva, 1984) is one of the leading figures in flamenco today. "Argentina" (2006), "Las minas de Egipto" (2009), "Un viaje por el cante" (2012), "Sinergia" (2014), "La vida del artista" (2017), "Su primera Navidad" (2019), "Mi idilio con La Habana" (2024) and "Utrera flamenco fetén" (2025) trace a body of work of remarkable consistency, with no star-trip attitude, where authenticity wins out over artifice.
Argentina (vocals), Pitín and Javier Ibáñez (guitars), Pedro Saavedra (bongo), Gaspar del Cuchara and José de Pitín (palmas, jaleo and backing vocals) and Jorge Bautista and Juan de Oruco (backing vocals, jaleo and palmas).
Running time: 1 h 30 min, no interval.
