Nuria Fergó

Nuria Fergó (Nerja, Málaga, 1979) rose to fame on the first season of Operación Triunfo (2001), a genuine social phenomenon. Her debut album, "Brisa de esperanza" (2002), reached number 1 in Spain and went triple platinum. With six studio albums and a flamenco-rooted pop style, she has combined music with acting in TV series and film. She's one of the most popular Málaga-born artists of her generation and a source of pride for the province.
