María Peláe

María Peláe (María Peláez Sánchez, Málaga, 1990) is a Málaga-born artist who blends flamenco with pop and copla from a modern, feminist, humour-filled perspective. She took part in the Benidorm Fest 2024 with "Remitente", one of the most acclaimed performances of the contest, and has released albums including "Hipocondría" (2016), "La Folcrónica" (2022) and "Al Baño María" (2023). Her work, with socially critical lyrics and plenty of Andalusian duende, has made her a unique voice on the Spanish music scene.
