091 are one of the most important, influential bands in the history of Spanish-language rock. Founded in Granada in 1983 by José Ignacio Lapido, they're behind anthems such as "Volverás a casa a las tres", "El Sur" and "Tiempo de lucha". Their sound, somewhere between American rock and Spanish musical tradition, made them a touchstone of the Spanish independent scene in the 1980s and 90s.
